Founded by two women who moved here, and remembered every missing detail.

Northbound started with a shared experience. The two of us moved to Copenhagen years apart, from different cities, and arrived to the same quiet chaos of empty rooms, a mattress on the floor, a kettle bought at 10pm, weeks of furniture assembly between jet-lagged work calls.

We kept lists of what we wished someone had done for us. A bed made with clean sheets. Coffee and milk in the fridge. Lamps already lit. A home that felt like a home on the first night, not the fourth weekend.

We built Northbound to be that. A small studio of women who know what it takes to land softly in a new country and prepare your apartment so that you can too.
